how long to get captaincy in various airlines ?

am curious as to how long does it take to be cleared to fly as capt after u get ATPL, in
1. jet
2. Kingfisher
3. Go
4. Indigo

ALSO WHAT IS THE SYLLABUS FOR COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE TYPES/ EX MILITARY PILOTS WITH atpl?

1. 9w, things depend on the type of experience, flying jaguar for 2000 hrs will probably only get an f/o position, but command type on turboprops may guarantee a turboprop Command after 500 hrs as F/O on company aircraft.

2. rest I don't know.. but I guess are more flexible than 9w

1. in jet, mil pilots with turboprop exp start trg from left. same for commercial exp. however fighter experience do some hrs from right first

2. in Kf the same lot have to do about 280 hrs from right before jumping to left. also the waiting period to start is as long as 1 year plus on the ATR.

3. Indigo is pretty fast ( time not known)

4. spicejet - no idea

5. Go no idea.

Get ur ATPL and 300 hrs on type for indiGo.. :)
