Outlook issue.

A few weeks ago I got up one morning, went to my computer and found that outlook was completely bare. It had deleted every email I had in every folder and wiped my address book clean. Last night talking to a friend in Australia learned that his outlook did the same thing a few weeks back. Has this happened to anyone else?
In both cases the outlook was the version that comes with office 2000.

On the left side of Outlook, have you selected the personal folder that corresponds to where your life is? The same applies to the Contacts folder.
Another option is to search for your .PST file and import it. This link (http://www.slipstick.com/config/movepst.htm) gives detail on how to find it.
