As long as you can clear the class 1 medical...

I don't think so.
The medication alone will probably disqualify you.
Not to be sarcastic by why would you want to spend that kind of money on a career that you'll never live to enjoy?

I think there was a thread in Medical & Health on this exact subject not so long ago. The responses from a geographically worldwide area suggested obtaining a medical would be a problem due to related conditions and the medication required to control them.

A twenty year old diagnosed with HIV today, is likely to live until he (or she) is seventy.
