Idly looking for something else I found again references to Readyboost. Having a spare 2 Gig SD card and an unused slot, I plugged it in, got it recognised, configured, and hope to forget it. Hope it helps the next time I want to do some video editing or other disk-intensive stuff. But then I thought...
Suppose one of the gurus knows horrible things about Readyboost that I didn't find in goog/bing, what then?
So I thought I'd ask.
C: 250 gig less than half used,
D: 500 gig, on which most of the docs are stored
2 gig memory, typically 35-40% in use
