I know that the Monton Flight College in Canada used to, but I have stopped it due to a shortage in European instructors, but I was wondering does anyone know of any other schools in either USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa that offer European (JAA) PPL and CPL training?

The only reason why I am interested is because it is obviously cheaper than training in the UK and also it means I don't have to convert any non-European licenses.

Is this a good idea or am I being naive? (Baring in mind I'm only 15, haha) :8

Scandinavian aviation academy have a large portion of their flight training in san diego, california. 12 months of the total 18 months are abroad and you get an european frozen ATPL... but it still costs more than €70 000.

Australia has the WAAC (http://www.waaviationcollege.com.au/courses/jarintegrated/index.asp). That's in Perth. Note, the students do their IR in the UK.

In Melbourne Oxford (http://www.oaa.com/pages/about_us/locations/melbourne.php) has set up camp.

In New Zealand, CTC send their students there.
