Anybody out there do the B737NG TRI training course or any TRI course with Cockpit4U in Berlin recently? Did you do it independently and if so were you able to find sim work on a part-time or full-time basis as a result of doing it there?

If you are going to do a TRI, make sure your authority will endorse it and approve the course. We have several Spanish TRIs/TRE that are not accepted on their UK licences ( they have both). Crazy as they can legally sign the LPC, but there you go. Also check the requirements for a teaching and learning course prior to the TRI course, usually 5 days.
Will yoi get full time work? how many 737 ratings are being sold? you may get a sim a month if you are attached to a TRTO, but bear in mind they make the money by selling you the TRI course, not giving you the work afterwards.
In UK there are loads of unemployed TRIs. Ok, it's good from a CV point of view, but can be a downside if you need a sim check as the bar is always raised for you.
