As much as I would like to jump at the chance to be based at home in europe, I would not be able to . If the company did not change the pay scales then I would be better off working for any tin-pot cessna operation due to the high tax regimes.

well, i think 5000 euros after tax as f/o should be more than ok. if this would be the case, i go today, this hour, this minute.
and what i learned from here: i rather prefer paying taxes, but i have an organised life, good environment, nature, school system, medical facilities and so on.
