Hello,

I am doing a graduate research on the impact of flight planning tools (Jeppesen, EDS, Lido, Flywize, etc.) on the economics of the airlines.

Does anyone knows / can point me to a source of how much implementation of such a tool will cost for a commercial airline carrier?

Thanks,
Kia

I would doubt that you will get any meaningful comparisons if anyone did tell you actual costs which I very much doubt they will, especially not on an open forum such as this. The cost to an airline will depend on their contract which will vary according to factors such as the number of plans that they are requesting each day. Even similar airlines using the same company will not necessarily be on the same contracts. You may get the best comparisons by drawing up a scenario - size of airline and number of plans and asking the various suppliers what they would charge. Good luck.
