If no speed restriction is reported on ATIS, what is the maximum speed below FL100? Is it 250 or 230 KIAS?
Also, is 210 KIAS the maximum speed below FL65?

Does it also depend on DME distance from DPN?

Thanks

Durring arrival, 230 Kts below FL100 and 210 Kts below FL65.
You may read 10-1P7 of Jeppesen Airways Manual, VIDP.
cheers!

10-1P7 states:

MAX 230 KT below FL100
MAX 210 KT below FL65

It also states:

All arriving ACFT below 10,000' shall maintain MAX 250 KT.

So, what is it: 250 KT or 230 KT?

@matthewgamm
thats written because as per cars
all aircraft should maintain 250 knots below 10000 feet and 210 knots below 3000 feet and 20 nm from an aerodrome

but then if there is more limiting speed given then you will follow that

MAX 230 KT below FL100
MAX 210 KT below FL65

Even if ATC says no speed restriction the above is what you ve got to
maintain..
250 knots below FL100 is just CARS as avalanche pointed it right ..

figure out the a/c that has been sequenced immediatly ahead of you, and stream yourself about 7 miles behind it.
You will find that the moment the controller has figured out that you are now situationally in the loop...you will get an almost uninterupted descent to 3600 shortly followed by 2600 the GP intercept alt.

maintain 180 from 10 miles till 5 miles to touchdown and 160 from 5miles till touch down.

A small but critical correction..

it was 180 until 10 miles and 160 until 5 miles..

u can never expect an aircraft to maintain 160 knots from 5 miles until
touch down.. what are Vref speeds calculated for.. ??

I stand corrected.
