I'm looking for a reasonably priced room with a view, any suggestions.
Edinburgh Airport hotels, Quality Hotel Edinburgh Airport, Edinburgh hotel accommodation, Edinburgh airport parking (http://www.qualityhoteledinburgh.com/)

There is only 1 hotel at the airport in Edinburgh and that's the Hilton, which is small.

(Not sure if it's still the case) but all of the best viewing locations are only accessible by car - I don't think there's any viewing at the actual airport anymore.
There are good locations at either end of the runway, and there is a crash gate opposite the terminal building which is good too.
You'd be better off looking for a room around Leith (which is where they will turn for finals if landing towards the west)...

Travelodge has recently opened a new hotel along the Glasgow Road 2.8 miles drive from the terminal entrance.

There are 2 Hotels on the airport grounds, Hilton and the Quality Inn.

Travelodge has an excellent overview of the runway if you get a room on that side obviously.

Thanks guys I stayed in the new Travelodge, if offered good views of the climb out/short finals at that end of the runway.
