Dear All,

We have/are performing regular Non-Schedule flights over Algeria. Now we have never generly requested a permit, but have had one or two difficulties over the past few days. Their AIP seems a little outdated Circ 2008?? We would appreciate any thoughts, as we are receiving conflicting information.

TUIFLY, LTU, AIR BERLIN never requested, anybody the real situation in this regard?

Thanks :bored::confused:

These charter ops probably have block permits. As a rule, o/fly permission is required which would maybe explain the problems you mention.

PM me.

With regards to Algerian overflight permit.

You can apply direct to the DGAC via AFTN at DAALYAYA & DAALYAYX.

I always apply in both French and English. We normally get a reply for overflights the next day and for landing permission's you might get asked who is your sponsor / purpose of visit, but you do get the permits yourself.

PM if you have any further questions.
