I thought I was going mad when I logged the CityJet RJ85 EI-RJO as being in Air France colours at LCY in April as I had photographed it recently in CityJet livery. I assumed I had misread the aircraft as for EI-RJO to have painted since the start of 2010 would mean it was in the new Air France colours and since I had not seen an RJ85 in this scheme I assumed I was also going blind and hadn't noticed. Or possibly mad.
Except it seems that they have actually repained EI-RJO into Air France colours but they're re-sprayed it in the OLD colours. Now I admit there's not a HUGE difference but in all my life I've never come across this before.
Was it a balls up on CityJet's part? Given they are responsible for brand identity, it's not that clever surely! I don't recall GB Airways going from a world tail back into the Landor scheme.
