In 1960 we took two of our Vulcans to support the SA Independence celebrations visiting Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia and venezuela. One a/c was XH481, can anyone remember the other one, I think it was XA903. Although (I have lots of notes and pics, thanks to NBS R80 film!) but have lost this info. Also we had a close call due to an engine fault 'twixt BA & Montevideo, can anyone remember the incident. Pat Summers was the Crew Chief. I am doing a fund raising event for XH558, and welcome any memory joggers.
