If you visit the 787 flight test website:

787 Dreamliner Flight Test | Home (http://787flighttest.com/)

you will see a list of the in-use aircraft on the left, each of which can be clicked to open up a window for that jet in FlightAware. That will show flight plans filed as well as the scheduled departure/arrival times. With luck you'll be perfectly positioned for its landing.

Which one are we sending? It will be either ZA003 or ZA002. Airplane 3 has a partial passenger cabin, so it's primary. Just in case something comes up in current scheduled maintenance though, airplane 2 would be the one flying out on the 17th.

There was a lot of fast jet noise coming from Farnborough at around 1:40pm today [14th July] I presume someone was doing their display for approval for next week's show?

Any idea what it was?

Excuse I for slight thread-drift, but would anyone in the know be able to recommend which day, all things considered, that would be the best to go to watch the flying display at this years Farnborough ? I have seen that only on certain days the main 'stars' will be flying and on others seemingly not, and it would be good to be able to catch them all in one go if possible.

Any pointers appreciated.

I wonder why they didn't send it over wearing the "dreamliner" livery.

That is because only one a/c is in that livery and it does not have cabin fittings.

Thought they may have dropped in to see you all at 'Spotty M' and Thomson.

Just been watching the Thomson Dreamliner video, if you stop the video at the begining when the cabin crew is standing at the door you can see the new planned livery,

sort of half thomson blue and swept colours just after door 2
