Global Pilot Service Ltd. (GPS) is currently assisting EVA Air. based in Taipei Taiwan to recruit MD11 and A330 First Officer for a three years contract. EVA Air is a well established airlines with very good training standard and outstanding safety record. Although this F/O position is a three year contract, we do think it is a good opportunity for a highly motivated and young F/O to gain a good flying experience in a well organized airlines. Due to the improved cross strait relationship between Taiwan and China, EVA Air is expanding their service both on passenger and freighters, it accepts pilots with or without MD11 or A330 rating and experiences, if you are looking for a flying career in Asia, we do recommend you to consider present opportunity in EVA.

EVA Airways Corp. MD11/A330 First Officers
1. Term of Contract: 3 years plus 2-4 months training period
2. Home Base: Taipei Taiwan
3. Minimum Requirements:
1) age below 50
2)500 hours on airline jet such as MD80/MD90/B737/B727/A320/CRJ/B747 FO experiences, preferably with glass cockpit experiences. EVA provides the training and the pilot needs to agree with three years of service with set training bond
3) Currency on type within 12 months
4) 2,000 total flight hours
5) ICAO ATPL and type rating
6) First Class Medical
7) passport valid for at least 12 months period
8) no incident or accident certificate issued by ICAO CAA authority or Airlines
9) No criminal records
10) ICAO Aviation English minimum level four certificate or English Proficient noted in FAA ATPL
11) A recommendation letter issue by the previous airlines
12) 5 years of employment record in aviation/pilot related work
4. Remuneration Package:
US$ 5,200 – US$ 6,300 per month before tax. The pilot needs to pay Taiwan Income tax based on the local tax rate (if the pilot joins on the second half of 2010, 2010 will be subject to 18% tax as the pilot will not stay more than 183 days in Taiwan)
As above payment needs to be subtracted by some payment withholding, annual agent bonus and premium payment for Taiwan Labor and National Health Insurance, the detailed Payment table is available after receipt of qualified application form
Per Diem: 3 USD per flight duty hours and layover time in outstations
5. Scheduling Pattern:
8 block day off per calendar month
18 days of annual leave per 12 month service
12 days of paid sick leave per 12 month service
6. Benefits:
Accommodation: EVA provides the hotel style of pilot quarter in the Company The pilot who relocates family to Taipei may apply housing subsidy 50% of rental up to NT$ 25,000 per month
One Sub-to-load ID00 ticket on Evergreen Deluxe class in EVA service networks for the pilot, pilot’s spouse and children per 12 month service
Unlimited sub-to-load ID90/75 tickets on Evergreen Deluxe class in EVA service network for the pilot, pilot’s spouse and children
SNY travel (jump seat travel) for the pilot commuting from Taipei to his residence
The Pilot needs to pay fuel surcharge and airport tax while using this ID00 tickets
