Didn't see it but heard it, must have been low headed south to central London. Can't think of any ceremonials going on, what gives?

Whatever it was whizzed over our office in Old Street closely followed by the Red Arrows in full multi coloured crop spraying mode.

The Prince of Wales is to attend a Royal Review to celebrate 150 years of the Cadet Forces in the UK.
Cadets, volunteers and their bands from across the UK will march from Horse Guards Parade down The Mall to Buckingham Palace. The route will take them past Clarence House where the prince will take the salute in honour of the anniversary.
The parade will be accompanied by a special flypast by the Red Arrows, who will be carrying cadets from across the forces in the cockpit as part of the celebration.
Andrew Robathan, Minister for Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans, said: "Today's celebrations will be a proud moment for all cadets and volunteers around the UK, both past and present. As one of our leading and oldest youth organisations, the Cadet Forces have proven their worth in British society, providing young people with adventurous training, leadership and skills that they will use in adulthood."
The Royal Review and garden party form the centrepiece of Cadet150 celebrations taking place throughout 2010, marking 150 years of Cadet Forces in the UK. The day pays tribute to 131,000 cadets and 25,000 adult volunteers who make up the Cadet Forces, and to those who have served in these organisations in the past.
The celebrations coincide with the interim results of a study conducted by Southampton and Portsmouth Universities into the social benefits gained from being a member of the Cadet Forces. Out of the 4,500 cadets surveyed, the majority believe that they have a healthier lifestyle from being a cadet, and that their spare time would otherwise be spent playing computer games, hanging about or getting into trouble.
