Viking 737-800 from Edinburgh to Verona made a "heavy" emergency landing at Glasgow after take -off due to a minor technical fault as reported in a local newspaper.
Any other information about the incident ??

According to reliable sources it was safetly landed by a ninety year old great grandmother who last flew in 1945 as a ferry pilot after both crew went down with deli belly after a dodgy curry the previous evening ,she narrowly avoided a orphanage, a convent and a ferret sanctuary before safetly landing, later said she hadnt had so much fun since VJ day and is now seriously thinking about becoming a airline pilot

Is this not the delayed Verona to Inverness Viking flight that landed at Glasgow due to Inverness allegedly being closed. Sources say that it had to divert to Glasgow due to a technical fault and that Inverness was actually open. In fact I gather that this aircraft was actually a replacement for the oriiginal Verona - Inverness sector. Passengers had to be be bussed to Inverness after supposedly waiting two hours for their luggage. What's the real story?

Flying tomorrow at 6am on the Rhodes VIK8017 flight, very dubious that it will actually take off on time after reading lots of negative reviews. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
