Just interested to know how many hours per year on average you guys up north in the 210's etc do on average over the dry / wet etc?

Solowflyer, depends on what company your with and where your at. Speaking with mates up here they have done anywhere from 500hrs up to 800hrs a year in singles.

I managed a tick over 700.

GG, couldn't agree more with that. :ok:

Since the question was for driving a 210 or similar up north we should consider that the drivers can be either casual or fulltime. It's been a while since I sat down and worked out the break even point, but I seem to recall it was around 550hrs a year.

So, basically if your fulltime, try and fly less than 550hrs a year. Casual, try and fly more than that.

Happy to be corrected on those numbers. Maths never was a strong suit of mine.

Im thinking corporate. Jets. On standby for the CEO or any of the top board members for large multi-nationals. Say the wage is about 150k a year, you might only do 150 hours a year.

Whatever it is, I bet its not a second or third job. Unless your first gig was Military fast jet.
