Hallo!

I'm a C525 (CJ) pilot and maybe I've found a job on a C525A (CJ2+), so I need a differences training that the owner cannot provide because he has C525A only....
Can someone tell me where to do this training in a fast and CHEAP way?

Thanks everybody

You lucky man, well done on the job.

Try Flight Safety or Simuflite. Two day course.
Any other jobs going with your company please PM me.

thanks for the answer...
It's not sure at all about this work... but I need to be ready if they call...
Consider that the job would be in Italy with JAA aircraft, but in case I will PM you.

A C525 rating covers all the C525 range - differences training is about avionics. The classic usues a very strainght forward FMS (if fitted) and small two screen EFIS whereas the 1,2 and 3 uses Proline 21 and the plus has FADEC.

Different models have different "drivers" for the Proline (Collins or Universal)

As a TRTO we can arrange differences training for a modest fee :ok:

Julian,
What is the definition of training required to complete 'differences training' between family groups of aircraft? Avionics as mentioned obviously - do you need to take a written examination etc? Any flying required?

Thanks

AFAIK there are 2 types of courses for different variants of a type :
* differences courses, courses which need to be approved by the authority, written exam, no flight needed
* familiarization courses, no need for approval by authority.
