Hi guys,

I didn't know where to put this thread, but I hope that many of You know what I'm asking about.

The thing is ... is there any possibility to get wind direction and velocity shown somewhere in this configuration GNS 430, GNS530, and Garmin MX20, that's PA34, used in Europe so no XM Weather and other cosy stuff applies.

Thanks for answers.

You need an air data computer such as a Shadin ADC200 to provide the wind vector data to the GNS430/530. Alternatively install a Garmin G500 EFIS into the PA34 and this also provides the wind data.

You think they could have installed it in 2006 PA-34 V ?

I flew a lot in G1000 lately and it scares me :} to fly without this magic arrow, I haven't seen the plane yet... so don't tell me to see the acft spec. :)

Does this 2006 PA34 have Avidyne Entegra EFIS installed or is it an analogue aircraft? Entegra aircraft have the wind vector same as G1000 or G500.

No, it's not. If it was, I wouldn't ask of course :)

That's one of the last-ones without glasses but pretty well stuffed, so that's why I'm asking.
