Hello,

I´m not sure about the regulations for Civil Aviation and the Goverment to work as a pilot in India.

Is there anyone that can give me some details?

What are the requirements?

Thank you.

Hello again,

I´ve got my JAA ATPL. I wonder if I could take a Direct Enter Captain opportunity in an Airline Company in India.

The economy in India is growing and they need pilots obviously, but i don´t know if the Goverment allows foreigner pilots.

Thanks for the link you have write, I´m going to check it. Thanks a lot.

Direct Entry Capt positions are if you have a type rating in the aircraft the airline is currently flying, and 500 hrs of PIC on that type as a minimum.
In India B777, B737, A320, ATR-42 etc.

Consider simply contacting employers / employment agencies and let them wade through the details. If they feel you're qualified they'll handle things.

Rotorhead1026 is correct. Find an employer and he will take the necessary burden, this may save some effort. But if you go through the document, you will find if it is worth putting the efforts to find an employer.

A little detail can save a lots of efforts.
