avalanche007 hi
well u can find this book out here
also u can find other study materials as well

chek it out

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Well, I'm sure the late "Sandy" A. F. MacDonald who wrote this book back in the early 1941 and the authors who have contributed to it since would really appreciate your hack job in cutting and pasting various sections of his work and posting it on the internet as a freebie for all to download.

Be sure to study the parts related to the Canadian Airspace System, I imagine they will figure prominently on your CPL exams.

Really guys, if you aspire to be professionals in this business how about starting off by taking a professional approach to how you study, which would include recognizing that the professionals who came before you and wrote these books to help you deserve to have their work acknowledged and their copyrights respected.

And please don't give me any crap about it being too difficult to find in India. I've been to the bookstores in Delhi and Mumbai where there are plenty of references you could buy if you cough up a few rupees. The Indian distributor for this book is here:

The English Bookstore
New Delhi, India
T: 91 11 332 9126
T: 91 11 372 2031
F: 91 11 332 1731
E: [email protected]

Or, you could order it direct from the publisher. In case your browser's search function has lost its way you can find them here:

@elec
sir i really appreaciate ur writing and ur thinking
but just to clear out few things to everyone
it was superflytnt who asked for the book especially an e version
so ur speech shud be mainly directed to him
morever i just copied and pasted the link and nothing else
so i m not any kind of a hacker
hope that cleared now

and one more thing
i had bought this book for 2000 from india itself before flying long back
so if i wud had this e version then getting it printed out wud be more cheaper
watever u said was absolutely correct and that wat i believe
so instead going for any online version
i decided to buy the book
still i have it
my first ever aviation book

and i guess this is not the alone book on net or i m not the only one to do such kind of a thing
there are numerous books available and almost everyone nowadayz download
i just dont wanna name the books
try searching forum and u will find such posts everywer
i guess u missed them most probably

so now if u want that i shud not help others then its fine for me
my works become a lot easier
i will just be a silent observer as i guess many are in this forum
its just i wanted to help others may it be cae interview or anything else as i experienced it
but then i wont do that from now on

nice talking to u
and thnx for opening my eyes
i will even delete my post also
bcoz i m not interested in any debate

ciao

Avalanche,

My post was not meant solely at you, but I do appreciate your responding to it and removing the post with the link.

Personally I'm glad that you bought the book, that it was helpful to you and that your intention was to help somebody else find it as well.

The problem is that you didn't give the person looking for the book a link to where to find it but rather a link to an unauthorized cut & paste scan job of the book that didn't even do so much as to bother including the author's name.

If you can believe it that book has been in print now for almost 70 years, making it one of the longest lasting and mostly widely used instruction manuals in all of aviation. But, it's still the product of a small aviation publisher in Ottawa, not some big conglomorate somewhere, and when you post the entire contents for free on the internet you take away their ability to be successful publishing it and to continue to keep the book up to date and in circulation.

It'd be pretty sad if a book with that much history went out of print because the very people who profited from its contents didn't care enough to give the author and publishers their due.

Best of luck in your future and aviation career,

ELAC

Avalanche007,

your gesture to not pirate and upload/download copyrighted stuff is greatly appreciated but not your current generation retarded text-speak SMS language.

I am not criticising your English language skills, but rather your spellings and SMS style of writing which is pathetic, to say the very least, in a professional environment.
If you dont make an effort to improve seriously on this, it would tell on your general character later on during interviews, tests etc.

Here you go ... for starters ...

i neva knew the history of the book...
I NEVER knew the history of the book

n wont allow my frnds to dwld it but rather purchase it as i did.
And I won't allow my friends to download it, rather purchase it ...

u know i hv 2 copies of the book.
You know, I have two copies of the book.

one i purchased n other i gt from skool
One which I purchased and another which I got from SCHOOL !!!

so der were many who wanted to buy it from me at half price or so on.

so THERE !!! were many who wanted to buy it at half price ...

anyways thnx fr bringing it to my knowledge....
really appreciate ur work.....

it's ANYWAY .. not ANYWAYS ...
THANKS .. NOT thnx
and it's YOUR ... NOT ur

Jesus Christ !!!!!! :mad::mad:

thank you alpha..
its an absolute eyesore with the haphazard grammar and loose sms lingo..i got a lot of flak and stick for using the same at the erstwhile "indian pilots.com" 4 years v back, i learnt my lesson and realized it reflects poorly on one's attitude.

on any other forum where moderators lurk around regularly enough,
such language amounts to infraction of forum rules resulting in immediate removal of the user.
on the other hand im pretty sure mr avalanche will not repeat it..:ok:
