The first quotes from EK was 'low bookings' , now 'operational reasons', White Knight you hit the nail on the head methinks .....

So short in fact the July rosters still aren't out... They're trying to shoehorn all of the flying into the limited number of guys available compared to guys required:rolleyes:

Is it fair to say both the Boeing and Airbus fleets are very short of pilots? Or is one fleet "shorter" than the other?
Is the growing A380 fleet basically siphoning pilots from the A330/340 fleet and then leaving it short? I realise most of the growth going forward will be on the Airbus side...
