With a MTOW above 5700 kgs (7,900 odd kgs) is this newly certified light jet going to be multi pilot or single pilot? Heard a rumour that it may be classified as single pilot, perhaps due to its similarity to its cousin the Phenom 100 (MTOW 4,750 kgs). If this is the case does the old JAR 25 category definition still exist??

Definitely single pilot according EASA! Perhaps though it should also be the same rating as a Phenom 100 with a differences course bolted on. The cockpit is identical from what I can see. The performance and systems differences could be dealt with over 2-3 days at tops with a mix of classroom and sim time. It should be analogous to the straight C525/CJs and the new CJ4 which is I believe all covered under the C525 rating but with a differences course requirement.
