Hi all, I'm planning to do some hour building in USA later in the year and was wondering what is the best vfr charts to purchase for some flight planning and navigation?

Wait until you get there.
Every FBO has them for sale and they are cheap and chearfull and get updated regularly. They also have books of air field plates for not alot which will double as toilet paper when you get caught short.
