Hiya guys,

Anyone know much about the ages of the typical recruits being taken on in the Uk in these tough times??
I am not talking about all the ctc marketing type schemes either....where ideally you should be fresh out of nappies!

When I worked at a Uk leisure outfit, the typical age being recruited was between 27-35.

All the best!!

Yes - thats me.

32 with 2 year old Modular ME-IR/MCC (£10K or so left to pay off training), mortgage and a little boy - currently reasonably well paid as a contract engineer.

There is no way that I could accept a flying job if I was offered one tommorow.

Mmm...I started with my lot not that long ago, and im a smidgin off mid 30's....wife, house, mortgage...all the usual responsibilities. The rest of the guys that started at the same time werent excatly spring chicken either. All slightly older career changer types....bit of life experience kind of thing. And 'no', not ctc, OAA...ABC....XYZ whatever types either. All just plain old modular chaps with GA backgrounds.
