Hi
I am looking for work in Germany within the aerospace industry.
I am poised to leave the RAF after 24 years
I have started studying for a B2 licience and a BSc degree
My back ground is in Aircraft Avionics and Electrical Engineering.
I have plenty of qualifications but none that the CAA would recognise.
I can speak and understand pretty much fluent German.
I just need a lucky break to gain the experience that I need for the CAA
I can cope with low wages and travelling
Any ideas or pointers anyone please?

The Army Air Corps at Gutesloh were looking for avionics types just recently.

Working on Lynx. Not bad money.

Not sure of the actual company running the contract.

Good luck with the modules. However you possibly have picked the wrost time to try and get into the Civvy market. 145 organisations in the UK are dumping people and I would be surprised if the continent isn't the same. Saying that though, lots of Brits get contract work in Germany, so if your German is good, that would not be a bad thing against you. However the experience is the show stopper propably.

Thanks for the info
I don't think that you are too far out with your diagnosis.
Will keep trying
