Employment - Fingerprints for criminal rec. check

Does anyone who lives in N.Ireland know how it is possible to gain fingerprints for a criminal record check in the USA and Australia? I have contacted the local police station twice and they dont have a clue. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don't know about N.I. but you should be able to get them done in Dublin in the Embassy's.

Its for employment here in Ireland/UK. I lived in the States during my flying training for more than 6mths and the previous year I lived in Australia. I need to send my prints away to the States. Country List: U-Z (http://www.sia.homeoffice.gov.uk/Pages/licensing-countries-5.aspx)
