Overheard a bit of a discussion recently about the Live2air installations on VB aircraft. It would appear that some of the latest 737 deliveries come minus the hump.
Is this because of a lack of uptake for the service or because some lessors' don't wont it installed on their aircraft?

As a passenger I must say I get a bit Pi$$ed off when I jump on one and there is no tele. Sometimes I plan to fly on Sunday arvos and expect to be able to watch the footy on the flt. Now you can't plan something like that with the mixed fleet.
Everytime the aircraft banks the signal drops out! Never again....

Maybe they are making a loss on their Live2Air system because the payment system breaks enough that they have no choice but to give it out for free :ok:
