1st Class Medcial Standards for Qatar

My search online and contacting current Qatar pilots has not provided me with a clear irrefutable answer to whether RK or Lasik's corrective eye is acceptable.

Can anyone clearly state with reference as to whether Qatar Airways and the State of Qatar pilot medical standards allows for corrective (RK or Lasik) surgery on a 1st Class medical certificate?

Contact the Future Medical Center in Doha and ask them. They have an aviation medical department there.

Thank you for the phone number of the Future Medical Center and your suggestion.

I was able to speak with the director of the Aviation Medical Department.

Qatar follows the US FAA Medical standards, which means they do recognize RK and Laskis as an acceptable treatment for myopia.
