Air Algerie B767/300 L/Gears fire

An Air Algerie Boeing 767/300 coming from Hassi Messaoud (algerian Sahara) with 250 pax on board had a main landing gear fire burst just after landing at Algiers international airport.No pax was hurt and fire dept intervention was quick to react and put the fire under control.

No more than usual. Before the advent of the web and such forums as PPRuNe and others like it, the public just wouldn't hear about these type of incidents. Now days, an airline pilot only has to fart and it warrants a thread.
