The only thing I know is, that LHI is not doing very well, pax numbers are much below expectations.

First of all it's Italian, not Italien... second, most Italians are actually rather "esterofili" (in other words xenophiles).

for many good reasons unfortunately..
ad ogni modo dopo come si sono comportati dovremmo smettere anche solo di nominarla sta compagnia

I wonder how long an "Alitalia Germany" based in Frankfurt and flown with only Italian crews would last ?

It would last forever, or at least as long as the tax payers pay for it.
Which isn't far from forever anyways.....

I will change the name , how about "Meridiana Germany" or "AirItaly Germany" and see how long the company lasts.............

Fantastic :ok::ok::ok:

And every week they would be on strike just to get Alitalia pilots in and AirOne, Volare, Meridiana etc pilots out. :E

EAM may be you were sleeping when it happened and you did not notice that Alitalia pilts are out and Airone pilots are in...
Do you know any Airone pilot in cigs?

EAM

EAM this is my last last replay because it has got nothing to do with lufthansa italia and it is a sterile discussion but..if Airone di not go bankrupt how come you have been put out?.. end of contract?..

Do you know any Airone pilot in cigs?

if Airone di not go bankrupt how come you have been put out?.. end of contract?..

So now the final question: do you know a single Alitalia pilot out that isn't in the CIGS program?
Probably none.
AirOne pilots?Plenty...

So is it better to be out and on cigs welfare or just out with nothing?
Alitalia wins again.

you did answer my question.. why are you out of Airone now? fired ?end of contract? on wich plane were you flying?

EAM
5th Jun 2010, 08:32
yes of course end of contract, but what does it change? I was on A320 and when they hire you they give you a one year contract and tell you "in Airone funzione cosi, doppo un anno ti facciamo un altro e doppo un indeterminato, Non ti preoccupare" Now all of us are out and the positions are taken by Alitalia pilots and just to remember, Alitalia went bankrupt!

But you are right, this is another discussion.

Took a LH flight yesterday and they were using LHITA coffe cups, because they are not using enough of them on LHITA, just like this guy from LH catering told me.

EAM

YES, thats how I see it. Alitalia went bankrupt! The new Alitalia took all the A/C of AirOne and all the new shiny A320 still to come, but only a few of the AP pilots. Instead they are training the bankrupt Alitalia pilots from MD80 to A320. Thats how I see it. You see it different, well fine, but I dont care.
Wanna know why? Because its the second time that I lost my job while the AZ guys get all the support from the government. 2004, AZ allmost bankrupt, got 400 Mio € from the governement, while Volare went bust, got nothing.

I am lucky, I got a new job immediatly (the good one allways get a job :))
but a lot of FOs lost their job and are still looking.

Eam i do not want to argue with you because it is pointless..in the alitalia/airone story all pilots lost dignity and jobs...so...
anyway just for info..where are you from?

EAM
