I did a search but didn't really find anything relevant so here goes.

I have been looking for an entry level flying job for 12 months now with no luck. I'm thinking of looking for employment in the Middle East as a dispatcher as I have does this type of work before. I plan to do this until the economy starts looking a bit better. I have been looking for dispatch jobs at home but only a couple of positions have come up in the last 12 months.

My question is are there any entry level flying jobs for foreigners in the ME? I personally know a guy who had a bare CPL with MECIR and he got a right hand seat in a coroporate jet out of Dubai through a family contact.

Would living a working in the Middle East give me any chance of finding a flying job there?

Cheers

tarmac12,

Its extremely hard for you to find a job with no Jet Experience. Many operators here do excpet non rated people if they have good amount of hours on jets. However, if you are a citizen of one of those gulf countries, then you do not need any experince.
