Hi Guys and Girls,

I can't seem to find the MCC Course information on Parc's website anymore. Have they discontinued the MCC course in Dublin after the OAA takeover?

I'm actually looking for the shortest possible MCC course and I remember Parc's being 7 or 8 calendar days.

Do you know of a (half) decent FTO anywhere in Western Europe that provides the MCC course within such a timeframe?

Many thanks!

Simtech Aviation have taken over the MCC business from Parc Aviation, they now do their MCC in an ATR simulator at their facility near Dublin Airport. Did my MCC with them last year, great bunch of instructors and good contacts within the airline industry.

There is also another company in Dublin called Pathfinders Aviation who carry out their MCC in a 737-200 Sim. I know some guys who did their MCCs there and have good things to say about them.

I reckon you should get in touch with Simtech or Pathfinders and get all the information you need. Best of luck!

Wasn't sure whether Simtech were still offering MCCs in the 737 simulator. As for Pathfinders I think they're using the same 737-200 as Simtech which is based up at Dublin Airport as far as I know.

Pathfinders MCC Course is on a Boeing 737-800 simulator using CTC training facilities at Southampton. This sim is operated fixed base & full motion during the course.

The three day ground school is at Weston Airport south of Dublin, where cheap b&b is available in local hotels and guesthouses.

The course consists of three days ground school plus five days simulator training, conducted by airline training pilots.

The 737-800 simulator was chosen because it is beneficial for future type ratings and airline assessments.

Hi everybody!

I'll do my MCC but I'm still wondering where.
Do there are people also looking for an MCC and also for a partner?

If interested please send me a PM or replying by this thread.

Thank's!

Daniel
