Clean dirties??
i dint get your statement, two brand new G1000 equipped 172's arrived on wednesday morning in entebbe airport, four more are set to arrive next week. this is a big leap towards the future for the school which already has a rich history in pilot training.

5X-KYO(lake kyoga)
5X-ELG(Mount elgon)

5X-RWE(mount rwenzori) arriving tomorrow.
They looking dazzling, cant wait to get my hands on the garmin!!
I was there in 1984 , we started like 20 cadets from Tz, Ke(2 short course) and UG and ended up finishing just 5 of us, I think we lost 2 already from a/c accident and illness.
I think 3 of us remain alive, 2 in UG and and myself in TZ

hi guys,
just from a garmin system briefing and it was awesome..the automation is just fantastic. it even has a TAWS system not to mention the fuel injected 180hp lycoming.
waiting for the flight next...
keep you posted:O
Amazing stuff !
I still miss Soroti , after 30 years ....
Still remember having to fly C172 , navigating solely by Map Reading as SO beacon ( by then just NDB ) used to go off due to power failure in town.
Hopefully will get a chance to visit the school one day !
