Looking at a AME night shift position. Have had a look at their agreement but the salary ranges are very broad. Anyone know what salary you can expect to make pa? Any other words of wisdom?

As low as they can get you for.

don,t they have some deal where you agree to a number of hours a year which may have you working low hours one month and extreme hours the next but your pay is averaged out over the year something like that all very dodgy i think

John Holland is actually dead and the mining corporation is run by a couple of women with access to a couple of city block buildings full of lawyers and bean counters for tax effectivness / contract agreements. Thank god we are Aviators, due they show no respect for Aviation ATA chapters involved, pick one ATA (Aviation Transport Association) chapter and specialise, you will earn a better lively hood. The worst case scenerio is a Hommer Simpson occupation operating an energy control panel with over qualified skills and remmunerated satisfactorily:=

I think you will find that there is a big difference between heavy and line at JHAS. The guys I know there are quite happy in line and actually say they have good management that know something about our industry. They may even care:hmm: which is a strange concept. The shifts in line either day or nights are all structured and permanent, theres no shifting around from one week to the next. I thinks its all 4 x 4 but someone can correct me if Im wrong. Your right they dont have loadings but the wages are higher than what you get at forestaff or ALG. If you are going to give it a go I would go for Line.
