Hi guys,
I`ve got an old T7 cbt, but it will not run on my win 7 , `cause mine is 64 bits.
Anybody knows how to tweak this or I should format and go back to XP?

Tks for any help:ok:

Let us know if that suggestion worked, if not I'm sure we'll think of something else to help.

ok guys,

this is how it goes.
under win 7 it will not run;HOWEVER....
if you install the virtual pc to run XP under a virtual machine, or emulator
follow the steps from:

www.microsoft.com/windows/...pc/download.aspx (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/...pc/download.aspx)

it will work!!!
you`ll be able to run xp and previous software under a new window.
once you have the cbt software, just follow the steps:

the only catch is that your win has to be hot(original), the system will verify!!
then, follow the config for the cbt instalation, as bellow:

CBT Instalation
1- setup
drive letter C: or any other letter for your hard drive
ok
win 95
default
ok
2- right click/copy/paste folder spcbt into 777 folder on hard drive
3- start/programs/777 ---> lessons list
edit
replace
D: --> C:
replace all
ok/save/yes
4- start/programs/777/router config
-1(minus one) /remove minus/don't add spaces
close/save yes

enjoy

:ok:

Lots of 32-bit programs run under 64-bit windows - Word and Excel for example. Not sure if you have actually tried it under W7 - I have lots of ark-ware running on mine.

The XP Mode and Virtual machine download is at:
Download Windows XP Mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx)

It's only available on W7 Pro, Enterprise and Ultimate. I don't know what happens if you lie on the download page and try downloading and installing it anyway - suspect it spots you have the wrong version of W7.

I use it for a couple of bits of ark-ware that won't work with W7, or possibly W7-64, and it seems to work well.

Another way round might be to use Sun's Virtual Box and Windows 2000, which doesn't check up in the same way later versions do.

PS I take it you've checked and there isn't a later version of your software you could download...

I have found that creating a thinstall application (standalone, no install) works fine for things that just wont work using xp mode's.

XP Mode requires a cpu thats supported, and not all are.

If you want, you can send the cbt to me, and i will thinstall it for you, takes only a few mins, just the time it takes to install and a little extra.

XP Mode requires a cpu thats supported, and not all are.
If you are refering to a VT capable CPU that is now not the case. A new version of XPMode was releaded over a month ago that enabled XPMode to run on NON VT capable CPUs. The link has been posted in the post above yours.
