I am interested in doing a SE IR on a G1000 aircraft as I would ultimately like to use a Cirrus.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

The only training schools I can track down in the UK are Goodwood and Wycombe (C172) and Cabair (DA40).

Many thanks.

TAA at Denham - John Page. Highly recommended.

Great - thanks - John's name seems to come up a number of times! I'll stop by Denham!

Thanks again,

Nick.

Have you tried Cirrus at Turweston? They have their own flight training group.

I fly a G1000 C172SP, and I'm looking for IR training, preferably on the 172, around London.
I'm looking for a full IR training, not the IMC rating.
Do you know an FTO who trains on G1000 SE around London?

Fairoaks Flight Centre is run by Synergy Aviation at Fairoaks. G1000 C172 at good rates and IR renewals available.

flysynergy.com but best to call and speak to Marcus. 08456 757 757

Fairoaks Flight Centre/Synergy Aviation is "unable to offer training to allow a pilot to gain their initial Instrument Rating."
I'm still waiting an answer from Wycombe

Wycombe answered.
They can train for IR-SE on a C172 G1000 they operate, and they can train on your own aircraft.
