Any ideas please? I need the other end of it so I can make a connection. It's on the back of a panel-mounted compass I've just acquired, and as far as I can tell it's just there to provide power to a small bulb for illumination of the compass in low-light conditions. It has S64SF stamped into the side of it. Need to know what it's called and, if anybody knows, where I might be able to get one off the 'net in the UK please

Thanks

The manufacturer (name) of the compass might help. I might be able to dig around in a few books tomorrow. Also do you know what size pin goes into that center contactor (general guage ie 20, 18/16, 14) looks sort of large, assembly may be a problem finding the right tools unless you have access to a well stocked shop.

Have you got a picture of the front and side?

Thanks for the offers of help guys, unfortunately I knocked the compass off my desk this morning and now it's stopped working, so it seems I don't need to know what this is any more!:mad::mad:

Unless anybody knows how to get a dropped compass going again...it's no longer spinning freely on it's mount. It's an Airpath-style one, not sure if it is actually Airpath, the data plate on the rear has rubbed off

Thanks again
