I'm starting my pilot training soon and have been told to get life insurance. I know the amount of cover to apply for but how long do I do it for?

On moneysupermarket you can do it from anywhere between 5 to 40 years!!

Anyone that can shed light on the the length of cover I should be getting and/or a bit of general info on life insurance would bee much appreciated!

If you're young grab a cheap life cover deal; and then maintain it well after training into your 30's / as long as you can.. Life insurance deals are a lot more pricey once you're older !!!

Find a good broker who only makes decent money from you until you've paid up for a few years ! :ouch:

Dave,

Drop me with a PM with your requirements and I can advise you for free. I used to be, (and still run) an IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) business alongside my flying.
