I wondering if anyone knew why there was a BA plane (possibly one the new Embraer 190s) at Exeter today, around lunchtime?

It appeared to be taxiing, although I'm not sure if it was for take-off or if it was just moving to a hangar. It was also there, parked at a hangar on Monday 3 May. Perhaps BA share the maintenance facilities with Flybe, given that Flybe have been flying the Embraer 190 for a while now.

No, flybe own the maintanence facilities and BA Cityflyer will pay flybe to do maintenance on the aircraft.

It was the latest E190 (G-LCYL) to join Cityflyer fleet. They arrive from Bazil then get some engineering work done by Flybe before entry into service. I believe it was meant to position to GLA today.
