Had to take the other half to SeaTac today, and the visual scanning started heading up the access road. A large fin clearly stood out. Getting closer there was an Antonov An-124 just past the northernmost terminal, just adjacent to the ingress road. Beautiful head-on view of it. Looked to be Antonov Airlines livery from what I could tell on egress.

What a really beautiful aircraft. I don't know of a more "elegant" cargo craft like that other than the C-141 Starlifter. But the Antonov is prettier - no offense to any MAC veterans. The event made me re-plan my afternoon and I drove a few miles north up to the Museum of Flight and spent some quality time with a few of my favorite aircraft, the Concorde, a B-47, and their F4 Phantom II. What a lovely, sunny spring afternoon.
