I have hust started my PPL and was wondering if i need to get a class 1 medical.
Flyer Boy,
A Class 2 medical is sufficient for PPL, only need Class 1 medical if you wish to persue it further.

i amstarting my PPL but will be doing my CPL after so do i get a class 2 throughout my PPL and then change when i start my CPL yo a class 1

Well,
In my opinion I think it would be best to get a Class 1 medical just to make sure you are medically fit to fly before spending a huge amount of cash on flying training.
