Superb. They may be a LoCo, but it shows that they are a wholly owned subsidiary of SQ. The same immaculate and gracious service - even pillows and blankets on a 75 minute night time sector from Langkawi to Changi - in a spotlessly clean (if a little aged) A319 (9V-SBC for the spotters according to my photo and delivered 30-05-2000 from a quick Google).

I travel extensively worldwide and just wish they were able to replace the usual LoCo crowd when I'm flying in Europe. They even surpass BA, KLM, and SAS that I also regularly use in Europe by a country mile and are right up there with the excellent Air Berlin.

Silk Air aren't really a low cost airline, basically they are a little Singapore Airlines and fly secondary routes which can't justify a B777.

Business class available, full service, greater seat pitch and more flight attendants on board than the competition. SQ Kris Flyer miles awarded.

Fly Tiger/Jetstar/Air Asia if you want a low cost experience.;)
