Hi all,. .Just to share with you my experience, and the probable cause:. .I arrived about an hour early to where I was having my class2 medical. I decided to waste that hour by going for a fast walk for the hour around the area. In the medical I recieved a positive result for blood in my urine. This was one of those biochemical tests...anyhoo therefore after this I had to have microscopy performed on my urine to count red-blood cells. After a few nervous weeks (could be caused by cancer...urrgh) I got the all clear. According to the doc the most likely reason I got the positive result was the walk I went for! Apparently just walking breaks up red blood cells in the body, and the broken up cells and contents get filtered out of your body into your urine; however this will give a positive blood in urine test (when using a biochemical strip test). .Moral of the story: Don't go for a walk or run before your medical!. .Cheers.. . <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
