Hurricane L1710 on Low Loader.

This evening at 1930 on the A12 near Colchester I passed a H.C.Wilson low loader carrying a dismantled Hurricane,either L1710 or LI 710,Wilsons trade to the continent so I assume the truck was en route to Holland via Felixstowe or Parkeston Quay,(Harwich).Does anyone have any info. about this move.Thanks in advance, Colin.:confused:

Sounds like the Hurricane gate guardian from Biggin Hill. They are being replaced with new ones in july. see the thread in miltary aircrew forum.
