I am sure there are lots out there on t'internet, but I bid AMS (one way) on the 6th May at a very reasonable HK$19,270.

If that is not to your liking you could always go Business at HK$ 41,360. This all makes the First Class fare of HK$55,370 seem an absolute bargain.

Sounds like the same approach as KLM at the moment to reduce pax numbers, so they can fly out more stranded pax

I just flew in from London today.
So if i had to pay what you did, "because its all about supply and demand" I would have been well pi$$ed to find 150 empty economy seat down the back of the 744. And if you had shelled out for Business or First.... you still only got an economy meal. Cos it was one meal for all- not even special meals. Mmmm economy congee for breaky.
I'm loving it.
