I am a UK EASA pt66 engineer based overseas, working for a UK airline. I also have various other customers from other countries that I look after.

One of them was Skyservice who have now unfortunately gone under. In order to sign off their tech logs I underwent training from SSV, doing CARS and the TC regs. Once the training certificates and my licences (EASA&FAA) were submitted to TC, I was issued an ACA under SSV's AMO.

My question is this: Would I be eligible for a TC AME licence on the strength of my previous ACA and experience, or would I have to sit all the exams? Can a Brit have a Canadian licence?

I have tried to look up the answers on the TC website, but I haven't found very much info on engineer licensing.
