Hi,

can anyone inform me on airlines that operate the 737F (300 and 400).

I have a friend working for a company who has to ship around 17.000Kg of general cargo.

European airlines preferably, however any will do if the price is right I guess.

route is from europe to africa.

regards,

Also could try TNT, Cargoair (who operate for TNT afaik) and MNG also have 737F now.

Isn't 17 tonnes pushing it a bit for the 737?

Antonov 12 might be a better bet, assuming traffic rights are no problem on the route.
There is also a Herc, but usually very pricey.

The best way to ship any cargo is to contact a General Sales Agent, usually based at an airport near where he/she lives. They will then source the cheapest option for you.
Of course you can specify a B737F operator but it could be cheaper as a bulk consignment with any carrier operating point to point.
Google's search engine will surely give you the answers you need.
Hope this helps

Hi Marlboro 2002

All depending on final destination of the cargo it might be more economical to fly the consignment as a partcargo on a larger aircraft.
I would suggest you try and get it operated out of Ostend on a MD11F, B747F or A300F.
Ask for rates and availability with ANA Aviation or Egyptair cargo or Air Atlanta Icelandic.

Thank you guys...

I tried all of those companies....

From Ostend, just too pricy...

Airliner belly.....too expensive and it takes just too long...
