Prestwick parking

Friend of mine has asked what the miltary jets parked at Prestwick are, thought someone on here may know

What do they look like?

Do they look like Tornado ?
Do they look like Harrier?
Do they look like Typhoon?

Would make sense. I don't know but seeing as though Ark Royal is on its way to rescue hoards of holidaymakers it would suggest that the jets have disembarked.

Although why they stopped at Prestwick and not continued to Colt / Witt is beyond me.

nah dont know what they might be, just said they had seen some military jets and thought i would know what they were and why they were there

so just seeing if anybody on here has seen anything parked up there the last couple of days

Passed Glasgow airport on Sunday and it was like a ASDA carpark! Never saw the place so busy. Even spotted a 747 never saw or knew they could fit/land there!
I know preswick gets them and the big massive Antanovs coming in with oversized freight there!

Perhaps because the airspace is closed?

I believe the remaining week of JW has been cancelled.

The Canadian's and Kiwi's left over the weekend too. I heard the US contingent were busy readying their aircraft to leave also but I haven't heard if they made it out or not.

Anyone got any idea when they'll be leaving PIK? I'm going to be in the area this week so would be good to see them.
